This site is concerned with true English poetry.
I contend that Old English poetry, Middle English poetry, and much Modern English poetry was formed by means of essential craft principles of metre, that is measure and rhythm, and alliteration, and end-rhyme. I hold that so-called 'free verse' is not poetry. I am in discussion and dispute with the Poetry Society and many individuals about these matters.
